Job Title: Accountant

We are hiring a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team in Ar-Ruwais. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your main duties will include maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing and analyzing budgets, and providing financial advice to management.

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations is essential. Proficiency in relevant accounting software is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing.
- Prepare financial statements and reports on a regular basis.
- Monitor expenses and prepare budgets.
- Conduct monthly and year-end closings.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Provide financial advice to management to support decision-making.
- Continuously review accounting procedures to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist with audits as needed.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of relevant accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
- Excellent numerical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

We offer a competitive salary of $1400 per month for this full-time position without accommodation. Biometric passport is required for international candidates. This position is open to all nationalities.
