Restaurant Manager
As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations of our restaurant located in Svalbard. Your main duties will include managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining the overall success and profitability of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Create and enforce policies and procedures to maintain quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Manage budgets and financial records to ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience for guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Strong problem-solving abilities with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management
- Fluency in English (knowledge of other languages is an asset)
Working Conditions:
This is a seasonal job with accommodation provided. The salary for this position is 900$ per month. As the restaurant operates during peak tourist season, flexibility with working hours is required.
