Hotel Sales Manager - Nairobi, Kenya
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Nairobi, Kenya. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our hotel's services and facilities to potential clients. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$, and accommodation and visa sponsorship will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other potential partners
- Create sales plans and budgets in collaboration with the hotel management team
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the hotel
- Negotiate contracts with clients and ensure all agreements are met
- Monitor sales performance and make adjustments as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to maintain client satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experience
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales or relevant field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry in Nairobi
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Must have valid work permit for Kenya
