Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the hotel's services and amenities to prospective customers. You will work closely with the sales team to identify potential clients, develop sales strategies, and negotiate contracts. Your primary goal will be to increase revenue by driving occupancy and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business and maintain existing accounts
- Build relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other potential customers
- Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns
- Manage the sales team and provide training, guidance, and feedback to ensure their success
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review
- Monitor competitors' activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the hotel's services
- Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel sales or a related field is preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a positive attitude
- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office suite; knowledge of hotel reservation systems is an asset
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends as needed
Salary: 1600$
City: Nairobi (Preference for candidates located in Nairobi but open to other locations)
Country: Kenya (Preference for Kenyan nationals but open to candidates of other nationalities)
