Part-Time Information Security Analyst
Location: Braga, Portugal


We are seeking a Part-Time Information Security Analyst to join our team in Braga. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our company's data and information systems. As a part-time employee, you will work approximately 20 hours per week, providing valuable support to our full-time security team.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security systems and logs for potential vulnerabilities or threats
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify any weaknesses in our security protocols
- Develop and implement new security measures to protect against cyber attacks and data breaches
- Train employees on best practices for information security and ensure compliance with company policies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve our defenses
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or breaches, mitigating damage and implementing solutions to prevent future occurrences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 2 years of experience in information security analysis or a similar role
- Knowledge of various operating systems, network architecture, and information security principles
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and penetration testing techniques
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR or HIPAA
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
