Baker/ Pastry Chef


We are a busy bakery located in Vianden and we are seeking a talented and experienced Baker/ Pastry Chef to join our team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1000 per month. This position is open to all nationalities, but we are particularly interested in candidates with experience in Pakistani cuisine or for foreigners who are passionate about baking.

As our Baker/ Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and other treats. You will also be responsible for managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to recipes
- Bake a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, and other treats
- Ensure all products meet quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times
- Train and supervise assistant bakers or pastry chefs
- Develop new recipes and menu items
- Provide excellent customer service at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker/ Pastry Chef (at least 2 years)
- Knowledge of Pakistani cuisine or passion for baking (for foreigners)
- Ability to read and follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs)
- Availability to work on weekends or early mornings if needed

Contract Details:
This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance. The initial contract will be for 6 months with the option for renewal.
