Pastry Chef for a Fine Dining Restaurant in Acre, Israel
We are a renowned fine dining restaurant in Acre, Israel seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts that will delight our guests. Your role will also involve managing the pastry section of our kitchen and supervising the pastry team.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification in Pastry Arts
- Strong knowledge of different pastry techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Creative and innovative mindset to develop new dessert recipes
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities:
- Create unique and high-quality desserts to match our restaurant's concept and standards
- Oversee the production of all pastries, including cakes, breads, cookies, and other sweet treats
- Train, supervise, and mentor pastry team members on proper techniques and recipes
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies for the pastry section
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times
- Collaborate with other chefs to create seasonal menus that include dessert options
