Computer Systems Analyst


A leading technology company in Svalbard is seeking a highly skilled Computer Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating computer systems, designing and implementing efficient IT solutions, and providing technical support to our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate computer systems to identify areas for improvement
- Design and implement efficient IT solutions based on client needs
- Monitor and maintain the performance of computer systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Provide technical support to clients, including training on new systems or software
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to make recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new systems

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with database management systems such as SQL Server or Oracle
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.

Location:
This job is based in Svalbard, an archipelago located in the Arctic Ocean. Applicants must have a valid biometric passport.
