Carpenter for Construction Company in Salalah, Oman


A reputable construction company in Salalah, Oman is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have experience in both rough and finish carpentry, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Responsibilities:
- Construct and install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim
- Measure and cut materials to specified measurements using hand or power tools
- Install structures according to blueprints or design plans
- Inspect and repair damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures at all times while on the job site
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding progress and any issues that may arise

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in both rough and finish carpentry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow design plans accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials when needed
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
- Indian nationality preferred (but all nationalities welcomed)
- Valid visa for working in Oman (visa sponsorship available for selected candidates)

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Vocational training or apprenticeship in carpentry is preferred.

Salary:
1200$ per month (salary may vary based on experience)
