Accountant for Contract Position in Oslo, Norway


We are hiring an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Oslo, Norway. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing and analyzing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial software. This position is suitable for men and does not include accommodation. The salary for this role is 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly and annual basis
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Monitor cash flow and prepare budget reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with financial software such as Quickbooks or Sage
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language skills are a plus)
