DevOps Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our dynamic team in Alta, Norway. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the systems and infrastructure that support our software development process. This includes automating deployment processes, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development as well as experience with various DevOps tools and methodologies. This is a part-time position without accommodation, so we are looking for candidates who are already based in or near Alta. This is an urgent job opportunity with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues
- Collaborate with software developers to ensure smooth integration of code
- Continuously improve infrastructure and processes
- Implement security measures to protect systems and data
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a DevOps Developer or similar role
- Strong background in software development
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker)
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, ELK stack)
