Fitter - Maintenance and Repair Technician


As a Fitter - Maintenance and Repair Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery in our company's facility in Remish. This includes conducting routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting issues, performing necessary repairs and replacements, and ensuring that all equipment is operating at optimal levels.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical equipment to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions or breakdowns in equipment and machinery.
- Perform repairs or replacements on faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including any changes made to the equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times while working on equipment.
- Identify areas for improvement in maintenance processes and make recommendations to management.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Fitter or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Experience working with hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems effectively.

Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Remish
