Tutor for English Language in Ashdod, Israel


We are a well-established language center in Ashdod, Israel, seeking a highly qualified and experienced English Language Tutor to join our team. As a Tutor, you will provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement personalized lesson plans for each student based on their individual needs and goals
- Provide instruction in all areas of English language including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Utilize various teaching techniques to keep students engaged and motivated
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student's progress and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to continuously improve teaching methods and curriculum
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay updated on best practices in language instruction

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in English or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience tutoring English as a second language
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt teaching style to different learning styles
- Knowledge of current trends and methodologies in language instruction
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching certification or TESOL/TEFL certification
- Experience working with students of diverse cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of Hebrew or other languages spoken in Israel
