Sales Manager - Hotel (Eldoret, Kenya)


We are seeking a driven and dynamic Sales Manager for our hotel in Eldoret, Kenya. As a member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue and increasing bookings through strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract new business and retain current customers.
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries to promote our hotel as the preferred accommodation choice.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to generate group bookings and event contracts.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with other departments to create attractive packages and promotional offers to increase sales.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the hotel's services.
- Monitor sales performance through regular reporting and analysis, making adjustments as needed to meet revenue targets.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse clientele.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and distribution channels is an asset.

Salary: 1100$ per month

Location: Eldoret, Kenya
