Preservation Architect
City: Oslo, Norway
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historical buildings and structures while also ensuring they meet modern safety and accessibility standards. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments of buildings, researching their history and significance, developing preservation plans, and overseeing construction projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of architectural design principles, as well as knowledge of historical building materials and techniques. You should also have experience in project management and be able to work collaboratively with a team of architects, engineers, and contractors.
This position requires at least 5 years of experience in the field of historic preservation architecture. A degree in Architecture or a related field is also required. Additionally, candidates must have excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex information to stakeholders.
