Facade Engineer

As a Facade Engineer in our company, you will be responsible for designing, constructing and maintaining the exteriors of buildings and structures. Your main focus will be on the facade, which includes walls, windows, doors, and other exterior elements. You will work closely with architects and contractors to ensure that the facade meets the design specifications and is structurally sound.

Key Responsibilities:

- Designing facade systems that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional
- Conducting site visits to assess existing facades and identify any necessary repairs or improvements
- Preparing technical drawings, calculations, and specifications for new facade constructions or renovations
- Collaborating with architects and structural engineers to ensure that the facade is integrated into the overall building design
- Selecting appropriate materials for the facade based on durability, cost-effectiveness, and environmental impact
- Managing construction projects to ensure that the facade is built according to plan and within budget
- Conducting quality control inspections throughout the construction process to ensure compliance with design specifications
- Providing troubleshooting support for any issues that may arise during construction or after completion

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Facade Engineer or related role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software programs
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations related to facades
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vianden, Luxembourg
