Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly experienced and analytical Senior Accountant to join our team in Al-Rayyan. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of all accounts
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions
- Monitor cash flow and forecasting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Participate in audits and assist with preparation of audit materials
- Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and accounting software (SAP preferred)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
Salary: $1600/month
