Facade Designer
As a Facade Designer, you will be responsible for creating and designing the exterior facades of buildings. This will involve working closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that the final design is both functional and visually appealing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design innovative facade solutions for various building projects
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure designs meet structural requirements
- Create detailed drawings, sketches, and 3D models of proposed facades
- Use advanced software programs such as AutoCAD and Revit to create digital designs
- Research new materials and construction techniques to enhance facade designs
- Communicate regularly with project teams to provide updates on design progress
- Attend site visits to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to designs
- Ensure all designs adhere to building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications
- Continuously review industry trends and incorporate new ideas into facade designs
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in facade design or a similar role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other design software programs
- Strong understanding of building regulations and codes related to facades
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Highly creative with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Location: Wiltz (open for remote work)
Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time contract (6 months)
