Entry-Level Mechanic Technician


We are seeking an Entry-Level Mechanic Technician to join our team in Mombasa. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$. As an Entry-Level Mechanic Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles, such as changing oil and filters, rotating tires, and replacing brake pads. You will also assist senior mechanics in more complex repairs and troubleshooting.

Requirements:
- Must be proficient in English
- Must have a valid biometric passport
- No previous experience required
- Candidates from Egypt or Kenya preferred
- Must be willing to work on a contract basis without accommodation provided

Responsibilities:
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
- Assist senior mechanics in more complex repairs and troubleshooting
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary parts
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or certification in automotive mechanics preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good communication skills
