Hotel Sales Manager
As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales team and driving revenue growth for our hotel in Svalbard. Your main objective will be to develop and implement effective sales strategies to attract guests and increase bookings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives
- Identify new market opportunities and build relationships with potential clients
- Collaborate with marketing team to create promotional campaigns and packages
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust strategies accordingly
- Manage the sales team, set targets, and provide training and support as needed
- Conduct regular performance reviews to ensure team meets or exceeds goals
- Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities for improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
- Proven experience in hotel sales management or similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel setting
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing a team
- Results-driven mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets
- Knowledge of Svalbard's tourism industry is an asset
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1000 per month for this contract position.
Location:
This position is based in Svalbard. Relocation assistance is not provided so candidates should have their own visa and accommodation arrangements.
