As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our high-end restaurant in Washington, catering to both local and international clientele. You will lead a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that our dishes are consistently executed to the highest standards. In addition, you will be responsible for creating and updating menus, managing inventory and food costs, and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation
- Create new menus and update existing ones based on seasonal ingredients
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies accordingly
- Control food costs by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train new hires on kitchen procedures and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Strong understanding of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors
- Ability to create innovative dishes while also adhering to traditional recipes
- Knowledge of food cost control measures
- Experience managing inventory levels
- Familiarity with health codes and regulations
- Excellent communication skills in English (fluency preferred)
- Availability to work full-time with flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
