Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes. Your duties may include digging, grading, and leveling land surfaces for construction projects, loading and unloading materials, and performing routine maintenance on the equipment. You will also be required to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. This position is part-time and does not include accommodation. However, we offer a free visa and ticket to candidates who are not local to Faro. This job is suitable for men who are physically fit and have previous experience operating heavy equipment. The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and must possess a valid operator's license for the equipment they will be operating. Previous experience in the construction industry or as a heavy equipment operator is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment according to project specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Load and unload materials using appropriate tools
- Communicate with team members regarding project progress

- Troubleshoot any issues with equipment

Requirements:

- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience in the construction industry or as a heavy equipment operator preferred
