Web Developer - Contract Position (Remote)



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining functional, user-friendly websites and web applications. This is a fully remote position, so you can work from anywhere in the US.

Responsibilities:
- Design, code, and modify websites according to client specifications
- Develop user-friendly interfaces and layouts
- Troubleshoot and debug website issues
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to ensure project deadlines are met
- Keep up-to-date with emerging web development trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
- Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms
- Knowledge of web security best practices
