Contract Web Developer (U.S.)

We are currently hiring a skilled Web Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function. This role requires strong knowledge of programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. The ideal candidate will have experience in front-end and back-end development, as well as familiarity with content management systems and e-commerce platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop websites and web applications according to client specifications
- Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
- Write clean, efficient code using HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP
- Troubleshoot website issues and provide timely resolutions
- Optimize website performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in web development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/PHP
- Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify)
- Familiarity with SEO principles
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team

Salary: $1400 per month
