Head Chef - La-Condamine, Monaco
As a Head Chef at our high-end restaurant in La-Condamine, Monaco, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire kitchen operation and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional dining experiences. Your role will involve creating unique and innovative menus, training and managing kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design creative menus that showcase the best of local and international cuisine
- Manage inventory and food costs to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistent quality in food preparation
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant setting
- Passion for creating innovative dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food cost control measures
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
