Waiter/Waitress

We are searching for a friendly and efficient Waiter/Waitress to join our team in Svalbard. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will be responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to our customers. Your main goal will be to provide excellent customer service and ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Take accurate food and drink orders from customers
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and drinks to customers promptly
- Check on customers throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Process payments using cash or credit cards
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area
- Assist with setting up tables for new guests

Requirements:
- No previous experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for long periods of time
- Must have basic math skills for processing payments accurately

Preference:
- While this position is open to all genders, we are currently seeking male candidates due to accommodations available in shared staff housing.

Salary:
$1300 per month plus tips.
