Job Title: Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Braga. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of excavators to perform tasks such as digging, backfilling, and grading. You must have a valid excavation license and at least 2 years of experience in operating heavy equipment. Previous experience in construction or landscaping is preferred. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to perform various tasks such as digging, backfilling, and grading
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate work activities
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and complete required paperwork
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
- Troubleshoot any equipment issues that may arise during operations
- Ensure proper disposal of debris and waste materials

Requirements:
- Valid excavation license
- At least 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment
- Previous experience in construction or landscaping preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Safety-conscious with knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
