Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Wiltz. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment, such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. This is a physically demanding job that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policies and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Read and interpret construction plans to determine the best course of action for completing tasks
- Ensure materials are loaded and unloaded properly using the appropriate equipment
- Communicate with site managers and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment before each use
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear proper personal protective equipment at all times

Requirements:
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or similar setting
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot issues with equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Working Conditions:
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position.
