Courier Supervisor


We are hiring a Courier Supervisor who will oversee the day-to-day operations of our courier team in Os, Norway. As the Courier Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a team of couriers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of packages, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for tracking and reporting on courier performance, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and previous experience in a similar role. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month.

Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of couriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of packages
- Monitor courier performance and provide feedback for improvement
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize delivery processes
- Train new couriers on company policies and procedures
- Create schedules for courier shifts to ensure adequate coverage
- Maintain accurate records of packages delivered and any issues encountered
- Implement safety protocols to ensure the well-being of couriers

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
- Previous experience in a supervisory role is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of geographical areas within Os is desirable
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with courier software systems for tracking packages
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
