Job Title: Information Security Analyst - Washington



We are searching for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT security, risk management, and compliance. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our company's data and assets by identifying potential risks and implementing security measures to mitigate them. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor network traffic and systems for any suspicious activity
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA)
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in information security
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (e.g. Nessus)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM
- Prior experience in risk management or compliance
- Knowledge of encryption techniques and secure coding principles
