Instrument Technician
As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various instruments and equipment used in industrial settings. This includes troubleshooting issues, conducting regular maintenance and inspections, and replacing faulty components. You will ensure that all instruments are functioning properly to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and determine appropriate solutions
- Repair or replace faulty components as needed
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to identify and solve complex issues
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in instrument technology
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
- Strong understanding of electronic instrumentation principles
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals
- Familiarity with common tools used in instrument repair such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces
Salary: $1600 per month
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Indian nationals preferred)
Type: Contract (without accommodation)
