Game Developer - Contract Position


A dynamic and growing game development company in Akron is seeking a skilled Game Developer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Game Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative, engaging, and high-quality games for our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and push the boundaries of game development.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to create unique and captivating game concepts
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code for games
- Implement game features and mechanics using Unity or other game engines
- Optimize games for various platforms including mobile, PC, and console
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with games
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in game development with at least one published title
- Strong knowledge of C# or other programming languages used in game development
- Proficiency in using Unity or other game engines
- Familiarity with 2D/3D graphics, animation, physics engines, and AI programming
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a salary of $1500 per month.

Location:
Akron - This position is open to candidates from Canada or any other country. Relocation assistance can be provided if necessary.
