Experienced Carpenter


We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team in Khasab, Canada. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will also be responsible for preparing cost estimates and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Carpenter
- Familiarity with carpentry tools and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and follow building plans
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Proven experience in construction or woodworking projects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Responsibilities:
- Study specifications in blueprints or sketches to determine materials required for projects
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, straightedges or squares
- Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using hand tools or power equipment
- Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, or hardware using hand or power tools
- Follow safety procedures while using power tools such as saws and drills
- Inspect existing structures for any damages or defects and make necessary repairs
- Maintain accurate records of project progress and materials used
- Collaborate with other carpenters on larger projects when needed

Salary: $900 per month

Location: Khasab, Canada
