Our metal fabrication company in Funchal is seeking an entry-level Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machines to shape metal parts according to specifications. This is a contract position that does not require prior experience, making it a great opportunity for those looking to start their career in this field.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up various machines such as lathes, drills, grinders, and mills
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Adjust machine controls to ensure proper dimensions and finishes of metal parts
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in machining or related field is preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of machine tools and shop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina

Salary:
This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of 1600$ per month.
