Florist Assistant


Our flower shop in Nairobi is seeking a skilled and creative Florist Assistant to join our team. As a Florist Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced florists to create beautiful floral arrangements for our customers. This is the perfect job for someone who has a passion for flowers and wants to learn more about floral design.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with arranging and designing floral arrangements according to customer requests
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized work space
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting with purchases
- Assist with deliveries to customers, events, and other locations as needed
- Learn about different types of flowers, plants, and greenery to assist with creating unique designs

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a flower shop or similar environment is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Creativity and an eye for design
- Good physical stamina as this job requires standing for long periods of time and lifting/carrying heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Preference for candidates who are passionate about flowers, plants, or gardening

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable depending on experience)

Location: Nairobi, Kenya (candidates from India are welcome but must have valid work permits)

Working Hours: Part-time (20 hours per week), flexible schedule including weekends.
