Blast Furnace Operator

Our company is seeking a skilled Blast Furnace Operator to join our team in Malindi. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining blast furnace equipment to produce metal from ore and scrap materials. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a blast furnace and be able to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. A biometric passport is preferred, but not required. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. Salary starts at $1400 per month. Nepali candidates are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate blast furnace equipment according to production schedule and safety protocols
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow of materials in the furnace
- Adjust controls as needed to maintain proper temperature and composition of molten metal
- Inspect equipment for any malfunctions or abnormalities and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform routine maintenance on blast furnace equipment
- Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience working in a blast furnace preferred
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under high temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Biometric passport preferred, but not required
- Must be willing to relocate to Malindi for this full-time position with provided accommodation
