Crane Operator


We are in need of a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Fonvieille. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to move heavy materials, equipment, and machinery on construction sites. You will be required to work on a contract basis, without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes according to safety regulations and company policies
- Inspect crane before and after use to ensure proper functioning
- Determine load weight and safely rig loads for lifting
- Communicate with signalers and other team members to ensure safe operations
- Use hand signals or radio communication to control crane movements
- Maneuver crane into position and operate controls to lift, move, and lower loads
- Monitor load movement and adjust as needed for stability
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Report any malfunctions or safety hazards immediately

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Crane Operator in construction or similar field
- Valid crane operator certification/license from recognized organization
- Strong knowledge of crane operation techniques, rigging procedures, and safety protocols
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work flexible hours depending on project needs

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1800$ per month.

Location:
This position is based in Fonvieille. However, applicants from other locations will also be considered if they are willing to relocate at their own expense.
