Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant (Dickirch, Luxembourg)
We are seeking a talented and creative Executive Chef to lead our team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Dickirch, Luxembourg. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design new menu items that showcase creativity and innovation while also meeting customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including ordering ingredients, managing inventory, and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and adherence to food safety standards
- Monitor food costs and work with management to develop cost-effective strategies without sacrificing quality
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards are met
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Proven track record of creating exceptional menus and managing kitchen operations efficiently
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong understanding of food safety procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent English language skills
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1500 per month. We offer free visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens as well as assistance with relocation.
