Executive Chef at a Seasonal Restaurant in Dickirch, Luxembourg
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our seasonal restaurant in Dickirch, Luxembourg. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and staff training. Working closely with the restaurant manager, you will ensure that all dishes meet our high-quality standards and that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer feedback
- Plan and execute daily food preparation to meet menu requirements
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain consistency
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling and cooking techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Culinary degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining traditional favorites
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Proficient in inventory management and cost control
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Must have authorization to work in Luxembourg
