Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Herzliya. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our clients. You will work closely with our design and development teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions that meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Android platform, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance
- Keep up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies
- Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in Android development
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or other programming languages used for Android development
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred:
- Experience with cross-platform development tools such as React Native or Flutter
- Familiarity with iOS development
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
