Crane Operator

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team in Mecca. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects on construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and the ability to work at heights.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes according to safety procedures and manufacturer's instructions
- Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues
- Lift, move, and position materials using various types of cranes (e.g. tower cranes, mobile cranes)
- Communicate with ground crew and other workers to ensure safe operation
- Inspect rigging gear before use and properly attach loads for lifting
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot any operational issues that may arise during crane operation
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid crane operator certification/license
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction setting
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time, climb ladders, and work at heights
- Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Ability to read and interpret load charts for different types of cranes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others in a team setting
