Housekeeping Attendant

Our hotel in Malindi is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as needed
- Vacuum, dust, and polish furniture in guest rooms and public areas
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and floors
- Restock supplies in guest rooms such as towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea
- Empty trash receptacles in guest rooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department
- Follow all safety procedures while using cleaning chemicals and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time
