Slinger for Construction Site in Malindi, Kenya


We are hiring a Slinger to join our construction team in Malindi, Kenya. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and equipment around the construction site using a crane or other lifting equipment. You must have experience in this role and be able to work on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes or other lifting equipment to move materials and equipment around the construction site
- Ensure that all loads are safely secured before moving them
- Communicate with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe movement of materials
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while operating equipment
- Inspect slings, chains, hooks, and other rigging equipment before use
- Keep accurate records of materials moved and time spent on tasks

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Slinger on construction sites
- Valid biometric passport (for foreigners)
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 USD per month.

Location:
This job is located in Malindi, Kenya. Preference will be given to Kenyan nationals but foreigners with valid biometric passports are also welcome to apply.

Contract Type:
This is a contract position with an initial duration of 6 months. Depending on performance, there may be opportunities for extension or permanent employment.
