Solar Panel Installer
As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining solar panels on residential and commercial buildings in Svalbard. You will work as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires physical strength, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Installing solar panels on rooftops or other designated areas
- Ensuring that all equipment is properly secured and connected
- Conducting inspections and troubleshooting any issues that may arise during installation
- Completing necessary paperwork and documentation for each project
- Assisting with the testing and commissioning of solar systems
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the installation process
Requirements:
- Previous experience in solar panel installation or related field preferred
- Strong technical skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Physical strength and ability to work at heights
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.
Location:
This position is based in Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago known for its stunning landscapes and unique wildlife. The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in Norway.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible working hours. The schedule will vary depending on project needs.
