We are hiring a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Malindi. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash transactions with customers using POS system
- Scan products and enter prices accurately
- Ensure prices are correct on all items
- Collect payments from customers in the form of cash, credit or debit cards, vouchers, or checks
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers accurately
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance at all times
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate to management if necessary
- Keep checkout area clean and organized at all times
- Assist with stocking shelves and monitoring inventory levels

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Proven work experience as a cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
