Junior Accountant


We are in need of a driven and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Almada. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily financial operations of our company. This role will require strong analytical skills and the ability to work with numbers accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and maintaining financial records, including journal entries, general ledger accounts, and bank reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections
- Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations
- Participate in budget planning process
- Communicate effectively with team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask

Salary: $1600 per month

Location: Almada (Portugal)
