Front-End Developer (Contract, Almada)


We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Almada. This is an urgent job opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining user-friendly and visually appealing websites and web applications. You should have a strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the design team to translate mockups into functional websites
- Develop new user-facing features
- Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of all websites
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end code with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to improve website performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less is a plus
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary:
This is an entry-level position paying $1300 per month. Accommodation can be provided for non-local candidates.
