Civil Engineer - Part Time (Bergen, Norway)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a part time basis. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop construction plans based on client needs and requirements
- Conduct site visits to survey existing conditions and assess project feasibility
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project goals are met
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for construction projects
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to meet timelines and budget constraints
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
- Conduct quality control checks on materials and workmanship
- Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates on project status

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in civil engineering or construction industry
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Working Conditions:
This is a part time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. Working hours will be flexible but may require occasional evening or weekend work. The successful candidate must have a valid biometric passport. Accommodation will not be provided.
