Indian Librarian in Sharjah

A reputable library in Sharjah is seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Indian Librarian to manage the library's collection and assist patrons with research needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for books and information, as well as experience working in a library setting.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the library's physical and digital collections
- Help patrons locate and access resources, including books, articles, and online databases
- Develop and implement programming to promote literacy and engage the community
- Train and supervise library staff members, ensuring excellent customer service
- Stay current with industry trends and new technologies to enhance library services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team

Salary: 1000$ per month

Location: Sharjah, UAE (Indian nationality preferred)

Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
