Executive Chef - Balzers, Liechtenstein
As an Executive Chef, you will oversee all aspects of culinary operations in our upscale restaurant in the beautiful city of Balzers, Liechtenstein. You will be responsible for creating and implementing menus that reflect the local culture and ingredients while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Our ideal candidate is passionate about food and has a creative flair that can elevate our restaurant to new heights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop menus that showcase local ingredients and flavors
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes
- Oversee purchasing and inventory management to control costs
- Monitor food preparation methods to maintain high sanitation standards
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create unique dining experiences for guests
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into menu offerings
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Knowledge of local ingredients and traditional dishes in Balzers/Liechtenstein preferred
- Ability to lead a team with strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Creativity in menu development with a focus on presentation and flavor profiles
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Own visa or work permit for non-EU/EEA nationals required (we do not provide sponsorship)
- Fluent English language skills required, German language skills a plus
